In some of the most recent post images, you can see how he often painted with his fingers. This wasn’t just stylistic as he really had no money to buy supplies. Also, the support is usually found things like cardboard, old fiberboard, old canvases, etc… This is part of the appeal, though, of his works. Given his limited supplies, including paints, the results are incredible.

I just saw this painting today. A well-known installation artist has it hanging in his hallway. I walked up the stairs in his building, an old run-down place in the Colonial Zone, and Bam!… there it was. Big, powerful, frightening. And cool. Very cool. I hope to buy this from him but he might not want to let it go. I can understand why.
